Project Speak: Call for Submissions

Do you have a story to share with the world?

For those of you new to this list, last year I launched Project Speak, a collection of truthful stories from yoga teachers. My motive was to begin conversation about how it feels to teach yoga. Many amazing teachers shared their stories. Project Speak stories are currently being held in this VERY TEMPORARY database: http://project-speak.tumblr.com

Project Speak is almost a year old, and I would like to begin collecting new open ended interviews. This time, I am inviting teachers of all kinds to enter the conversation. Whether you teach kindergarden, yoga, meditation, or coach people into full health, you are invited to Project Speak. The overall goal is honesty – allowing the interviewee to speak their truth. The interviews are raw and unedited. All submissions are welcome.

The purpose of this mission is to help others. Too many yoga instructors are trained and not teaching. I hear too many amazing ideas from too many people who should be sharing their hearts with the world. There is no reason anyone should feel alone in their mission to teach.

If you, or someone you know, would like to submit a story, please email a brief bio to: mentor@speakyourinspiration.com. I will respond with question guidelines unique to your profession.
